Women of the Word
The WOW study group meets year-round with weekly studies during the school year and with a less formal gathering in each of the summer months. Our small group comes together to learn the truths of scripture and how to apply them to our daily lives. Women from all walks of life are welcome! Check out upcoming studies with us below.

Women of the Word Challenge
Women of the Word is presenting a challenge to the women of FBCW. As it looks we will be quarantined for a while yet and our small groups are not meeting. We are taking a journey through the book of Proverbs. 31 days in May, 31 Proverbs, like a vitamin, one a day. The challenge is to read one Proverb a day and comment. You can still join in just by picking up on the current day.
All ladies are invited to join the women's retreat on Saturday, September 26, 10 am-4:30 pm. The topic will be Christian meditation. The cost is $36.00 per person which includes beverages and lunch, and a beautiful venue.
Meditating on God's Word
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day. Psalm 91:1-16
Meditation is a way of internalizing God’s Word - taking it deep into our hearts so that the Holy Spirit can work through it to guide, teach, purify, and transform us from within.
